NOV 13th 2008- After almost a year of red tape and paper work with the BC Firearms office they have finally changed the law to allow Cowboy Mounted Shooting in B,C, CANADA.

THIS IS THE FASTEST GROWNING EQUESTRIAN SPORT IN THE NORTH AMERICA TODAY.

Cowboy Mounted Shooting starting in Arizona in the mid 90-'and has grown huge since then. Canada is slow getting involved with this sport because of our gun laws. We would like to see this sport come to BC it is already in Quebec and Alberta. and this year will be held at the Calgary Stampede in July.

For those of you that have never seen Cowboy Mounted Shooting it is one of the largest growing Equestrian Events in North America. An exciting fast paced sport that entertains both the spectators as well as the competitors. Shooting two .45 caliber single action revolvers loaded with special blank ammunition. Competitors ride a variety of over 50 different courses requiring control of the horse. At the same time the rider must be ready to shoot ten balloon targets at a gallop.
